Artichoke Olive Tapenade

This last weekend, I was invited to a lovely bachelorette party with a wine tasting and I offered to bring an appetizer. I only had to think for about 30 seconds before I remembered this tapenade recipe that I’ve made several times before. It’s as simple as can be and only requires a few minutes of oven time for your baguette. These 90-100 degree Michigan days are making oven time a factor in all food preparation. For a no-heat alternative, spread this tapenade on fresh, untoasted baguette or your favorite crackers.

No need to add salt to this dip that has 3 deliciously brined ingredients. The garlic adds a nice kick that most of my favorite dips have. Another great thing? It’s something your vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free friends can enjoy.
