Love for Detroit + 313 Day 2015

Love for Detroit // www.dulanotes.com @nicoledula

It’s 3/13 today and in celebration, a bunch of Detroit bloggers are celebrating 313 Day, the area code for Detroit. We’re spreading some Detroit love with blog posts dedicated to what we love about this fine city.

Even after several visits, I know I haven’t even scratched the surface. I did finally try late-night coney dogs at both Lafayette and American and feel pretty legit now. If you’re curious, we thought Lafayette won with a slight edge for better chili and a great snap to the hot dog.

There’s so much to see, do, and eat in Detroit. You could spend an entire weekend just looking at the beautiful architecture. I’ve rounded up my favorite posts about adventuring in Detroit and hopefully it will inspire you to visit soon.

  1. Confession: I have never tried Lafayette OR American, but they are definitely on my Detroit bucket list! Live Love Local sounds really, really cool! I’m definitely going to be looking that up and seeing if I can go this year! Thanks so much for linking up with us and spreading the Detroit love!

  2. I’ve been wanting to check out Easter Market pretty much forever, too, and after reading your post I definitely need to go. Also, I had no idea that most of the restaurants you posted about even existed, but they all sounds SO GOOD and I’m always looking for something new to try, so thanks for that!. And, thanks for linking up! 🙂

    • I’m glad you discovered some new place to try! It’s hard to keep up with all of the great things happening in Detroit, but it’s fun trying 🙂
