Salt and Vinegar Potatoes Recipe // Dula Notes

I know people are starting to make heavenly spiced desserts now that fall is almost here, but I’m still grilling and I have to share. My Mom has long been a fan of salt and vinegar chips. They were a special treat when we were kids and we all knew they were Mom’s favorite. Being a fan myself, this recipe was intriguing with its short list of ingredients, easy preparation and promise of great deliciousness. Try these on your grill or use your favorite skillet for making these indoors. The zing of vinegar soaks into the potatoes and I love the crispy outside with flecks of sea salt. We both loved these potatoes and will be making these again, maybe even before fall hits. It only takes 10 minutes for the grilling part which makes it the perfect thing to prepare while your grilled meat is resting inside. Next time Mom comes over, we are so making these.

  1. I am right there with you, I feel like I am still hanging on to summer while I have one foot in the door for fall! I love the grill marks on these potatoes and am jealous that I dont have a grill to recreate them, but I bet I could make something similar in the oven… Great recipe!

  2. Mmmmmm, I’ll have to try these. I LOVE french fries with vinegar!! In my hometown a vendor called ‘Norms Fries’ were at all the local events. Norms was a must have! They had spray bottles of vinegar and salt to season your fries that are served in a paper cone. Scrumptious!

  3. We’ve been making these since I saw them on 101 Cookbooks. We love them!!! I used pickle juice instead of vinegar the other day and the results were good.

    • Sues-Yes, these are a healthier option and I love a good crispy potato!
