I made my first gif! I hope you like it. And I made easy cold brew coffee and vanilla bean coconut milk creamer that you’ll want to drink all by itself.
I just started drinking coffee, you guys. Even when going to coffee shops was the coolest thing in high school, I ordered hot chocolate. Then there was the famous incident when Marc and I were newlyweds and I ordered one of those sweet lattes piled high with whipped cream and I couldn’t sleep that night, so I started writing an autobiography. Marc still laughs about that one.
Marc drinks coffee, black, every day. When we’re on vacation or sometimes on the weekends, we’ll go to a nice coffee shop. So many places have such great coffee now that I’ve started to partake. We buy local beans for home and Marc makes a mean cup of coffee, too.
With summer coming up and the sunny days of spring upon us, I thought cold brew would be nice for weekends. You have to plan ahead a little bit, but it’s all easy work. You grind your beans coarsely and add to the French press with water. Cover and let sit at room temp for 12-24 hours. Use the plunger when you’re ready and pour coffee over ice. Add creamer to taste and serve in a cute cup with a cute straw for optimal good times
